1. aquaPUR tank
Has a triple layer structure and incorporates the aquaPUR® active silver technology:
- outer polyethylene layer, with excellent mechanical resistance;
- intermediate expanded polyethylene layer for anti-condensation purposes
- inner polyethylene layer, containing inorganic active silver compounds, for anti-microbial purposes
Inhibits the development of microorganisms and maintains the water potability. The aquaPUR® technology uses a mixture of silver-based inorganic compounds, introduced into the inner layer. It releases Ag+ ions in the stored medium, inhibiting the development of microorganisms (bacteria, algae, fungi, moulds, etc.). It has a double effect: it prevents their development on the surface of the tank and maintains the long-term potability of the water.
It does not alter the organoleptical qualities. The aquaPUR® technology does not alter the chemical or biological characteristics of the stored product. The taste and smell of the product are not altered.
Non-toxic, non-irritant and non-allergic. The concentration of active agents is extremely low, of approximately 2 - 3 ppm (parts per million). Due to the fact that it is inorganic, it is not toxic for the organism, it does not cause irritations and it does not trigger allergic reactions. It is not toxic for the environment.
Compact, single piece construction
- Sealed, best quality, seamless polyethylene product
- Easy to handle and install
- Small dimensions, it can be handled by 1-2 persons
- Easy to emplace and install within the current potable water system

Various volumes and geometries. Available in 3 versions, with 300, 500 and 750-litre volumes.
Ready to use. It is equipped with all the connection elements included in the manufacturing stage, ensuring the tightness and safe use. The other components of the system are delivered pre-assembled, ready for the final assembly.
Minimum operating costs. It does not require the cleaning operations that are usual for other types of tanks.
Recyclable. Made of virgin polyethylene, it can be recycled at the end of its service life.

2. 5 µm disposable mechanical cartridge filter
The mechanical filter filtrates the particles suspended in the water (sand, rust, fine powders), down to a dimension of approximately (5 µm) reducing turbidity. It is made of a support and a cartridge made of polypropylene wire, coiled (spool type), for water.
Its estimated service life is 3-6 months, function of the quantity and quality of the water passing through the filter (a “dirty” filter is a black filter).

3. Nanofilter
It is a filter with electrokinetic properties – the filtering mechanism is adsorption and/or sedimentation which retains particles under 1 µm, for example: viruses, bacteria, various colloidal substances and metals (Fe, Al, Cu and Pb) dissolved into water.
- Nanoalumina – AlO(OH)
- Fibres with dimensions of Ø x L = 2 x 250 nm,
- Low head losses
- Electrokinetic potential / zeta > 50mV in water at pH 7.2
- Surface 500m2/g
- Water with a pH 5÷9

4. Mechanical float
This component is only used in the cases when the system is supplied by the potable water supply networks. It closes and opens the supply, function of the level of the water in the tank.
Technical characteristics. The main characteristic is the rate of the intervention on the system, when closing or opening the system, in a very short time. Due to the servo-controlled closing mechanism, one float is sufficient for any diameter of the supply tube, and the closing force increases with the pressure in the supply tube.

5. Pumping systems
Pumping system for aquaPUR 300 and 500
This system is composed of a submersible electropump with an incorporated electronic control unit that maintains the pressure in the system.
The pump is submersible. The pressure maintenance system is completely automatic and has an incorporated house water supply plant. It is set to start the pump in the tank when the pressure inside the installation has reached 1.5 bar and to stop the pump, when the water consumption is interrupted.
ACUA 5 35 submersible pump technical characteristics. Recommended for pumping clean water, as part of a household appliance. This type of electropump provides excellent performance, low operating noise, it is reliable, robust and easily installed. Execution and safety norms: EN 60 335-1; EN 60034-1; IEC 335-1; IEC34-1; CEI61-150; CEI 2-3. The electropump has an EC conformity marking.
Electronic control unit technical characteristics
Dedicated to the automation of the electropump start/stop operations – stops the electropump, when there is no water consumption. If there is no water in the tank, the unit stops the pump and switches to the emergency mode, preventing the pump failure by no-load running. Moreover, due to an incorporated timer, the unit starts the electropump automatically, checking if there is water in the tank.
It is equipped with a pressure gauge that indicates the pressure value when the pump starts and the pressure inside the installation.
Electronic control unit components: 1. RESET key 2. Water level alarm indicator 3. Voltage indicator 4. Pump motor connection 5. Operating pressure adjusting screw 6. 1" gas male thread connection 7. Device electric power supply 8. Male thread connection 1" Gas 9. Pressure gauge

6. Control and monitoring system
Used with a purpose of ensuring the water required within the household, eliminating the necessity of using the house water supply plants. It may also be used for the situations when the tank is supplied with water from another source than the national water supply network. It includes the protection of the system components and the flood protection.
- Level sensors – controls the water inlet into the tank
- Filter replacement alarm - indicates, by acoustic and light signals, the moment when the filter is to be replaced;
- Overflow sensor (flood) – senses the abnormal water level in the tank and indicates it through acoustic and light signals;
- Tank supply system control – it is used when an submersible or surface electropump is used;
- We recommend the use of an intermediate contactor equivalent with the power drawn by the electropump, for the supply of these systems.
System automation element AquaPUR®
The adequate functioning of the system is indicated by the fact that the yellow light is on (ON). AquaPUR® system supply voltage: 220 V.
IMPORTANT
- The lengths of the level and failure sensors are set for an adequate operation.
- After the remediation of any defect that might occur, press the RESET key. (for approximately 6 sec.)

7. Overflow System
It is a safety system that evacuates the water, in the case of a defected mechanical float and if the tank supply control system does not function.
It is composed of a 0.32 mm PPR tube and with a vertical return valve. The loose end shall be connected to the sewerage, through a pipe (hose).
